I’m Rose.
I am an animist bio-regional herbalist living in a forest of alder, hemlock and sitka spruce on unceded Nestucca land. The plants initiated me during a long and harrowing illness, from which deep tenderness and devotion was born.
I engage in reciprocal exchange and listening and my approach is informed by my deep work with the land and plants themselves, my ancestors, the Wyrd, vitalism, circadian biology, and ancestral foods and lifeways.
